Smudge’s Times Tables in Space

The Times Tables are one of the key basic numeracy skills that children must know before they can progress through school.

They are so important that Smudge has jetted into space with a program devoted to presenting the learning of the Times Tables in an easy and fun form.

From “Launch Pad” to “Path to the Stars”, primary school children will be guided and encouraged through the Times Tables from 0 to 12 with a wide range of colourful and graphic interactive exercises.

The program starts with a tutorial to reinforce tables using the look-hear-do approach, and has a further seven activities, including “Jigsaw”, “Mission Control” and the “Flash Quiz”, to practise and revise Times Tables in many different and enjoyable ways.

Each child can work at their own pace with easy access points for the full range of ages and abilities. Individual progress may be monitored throughout with the “Smudge Marks” reporting system within the program, and children can print out a certificate showing their achievements.

Smudge’s Times Tables in Space will ensure steady progress in Numeracy throughout the simple steps of Introduction - Encouragement - Practise - Support - Revision - Reward.
