An equivalent fraction is where fractions written in different ways can express the same value: For example, one half is the same as two quarters: if half a cake is divided equally between two children, each child will receive one quarter of the cake.

The screen shows a picture of a segment of an item of food (for example, an apple, cake, orange or pizza). A fraction is shown, and children need to type in the missing number to complete the equivalent fraction.
