Pairing

Pairing contains a number of memory skill and thinking activities, presented in a colourful and interactive way to re-inforce early number and early word skills. The activities include:

• a memory game where two cards are turned over at a time until matches are made;
• selecting matches using multiple choice;
• drawing lines between pairs, or moving pairs next to each other;
• In the activity ‘tray’ an item is removed from the screen and children must guess which object has gone missing.

Pairing may be used to match items which are alike, which may be:

• two matching pictures;
• matching words to pictures; matching opposites;
• matching rhyming words

The list is endless.

There are different levels of difficulty and a reporting option throughout the activities. Pairing may also be used with additional packs (purchased separately) to cover different parts of the curriculum.
