If a CD-ROM title is purchased
on it’s own (without a Network Licence), then
it may only be used on one machine at one time.
Network Licences
If a school has purchased a copy of a software title, purchasing
a Network Licence for a number of users (5,10, 20 or unlimited)
allows the school to install the contents of the CD-ROM
onto their network, and allows upto this number of users
to use the software at any time. This licence is for use within a single
educational establishment, and does not permit home use without
permission from Storm.
CD-ROM Lab Packs
Additional copies of the CD-ROM may still be purchased as
a “Lab Pack”. These are for use in individual
computers, such as standalone computers in different classrooms,
with the CD-ROM drive local to each computer. Prices are
available upon request, and these prices will match the network
licences.
Web Browser Titles
For each title in the Web Browser range, schools may obtain
a network licence for an unlimited number of users.
